DRIVER'S
LICENCE
All drivers
should hold a valid driver's licence and be over the age of 21. A current
acceptable overseas, New Zealand or International licence is required from
all intending drivers. At the Manager's discretion, a holder of a licence
for less than five years is acceptable but may incur a higher insurance
excess.
RENTAL DURATION
24 hours from
time of pick up. Payment is to be made at commencement of hire by either
cash, travellers' cheques or credit card.
TAX
Goods and Services
Tax (GST) of 12.5% is included in all daily hire prices.
INSURANCE
The hirer should
be aware they have an excess responsibility of NZD$750.00 plus GST for
any loss or damage to the vehicle. This can be reduced to an excess of
NZD$250.00 plus GST by paying an extra NZD$8.00 per day.
BOND
A bond is required
to cover the contractual obligations and any applicable insurance access
this may be secured by credit card, cash or travellers cheques
ONE WAY HIRES
Available between
all branches, minimum hire days apply. Repositioning fees may apply.
CHILD AND
BABY SEATS
Child seats
are compulsory on New Zealand roads (under 5) and are available for NZD$25
per hire. Please order at time of reservation stating age of child so correct
size may be reserved.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations
made within five days of commencement of hire will incur a penalty fee.
BREAK DOWNS
All vehicles
are under their factory warranty, in the extremely unlikely event of the
vehicle breaking down, prompt back-up assistance is in place. |
